The 2007 Dublin Community Plan, adopted by City Council on December 10, 2007, anticipates future needs with respect to land use, transportation, utility infrastructure, parks and open space and community facilities. Dublin has also worked with experts to use state-of-the-art modeling software to support and verify recommendations made within the plan. The use of land use, transportation, fiscal and utility modeling will ensure that growth is managed in a way that maintains Dublin’s excellent quality of life and superior public services
This plan, based upon ten major adopted Land Use Principles, serves as the City’s primary planning guide and is utilized to evaluate private development requests and make public decisions regarding development, redevelopment, capital improvements, economic incentives and other matters affecting the lives our residents and corporate citizens
